When he was an apprentice he participated in the Macau Apprentice Jockeys Invitation Race as the Australia representative. He has won 86 Group 1’s which include 2 Melbourne Cups, 4 Caulfield Cups, 2 Cox Plates and 1 Golden Slipper to complete the Grand Slam. He has also won 8 Victorian Premiership and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2008.
