	Introduction :	The Macau Jockey Club advises that Brazilian born Jockey Joao Moreira, aged 30, has been granted a One Day Visiting Jockey Licence to ride at the Macau Gold Cup race meeting on Saturday, 27 July 2013. J Moreira, who has been the leading rider in Singapore for the previous three seasons, is set to win that premiership again. This season in Singapore he has had 409 rides for 112 winners, with a 27.4% win strike rate. He has won 11 black type races, partnering Super Easy to the SG1 Singapore Guineas and landing the SG1 Singapore Derby on Chase Me. The Champion Jockey has close to 2000 career winners and has ridden in Singapore, Brazil, France, Uruguay, Argentina, Dubai, Hong Kong, Australia, South Africa, Sweden, Germany, Malaysia and USA. Recently, J Moreira has ridden at Arlington and Churchill Downs in the USA. He has a riding weight of 116 lbs.
