	Introduction :	Locally trained K H Chio was indentured to former MJC trainer Daniel Murphy after joining the MJC Apprentice Trainee program in February 1995. Two years later he was granted permission to ride in races. Finishing fourth in his first race ride, he didn’t have to wait long for his first win. In just his second start Chio was able to secure his first winner. In August 1997 and in April 1998 he rode his 5th winner and 10th winner respectively. In August 1998 he was transferred to Pat Lee and later to Y C Chan. In November 2003 he was granted a Provisional Jockey’s license. His major Macau wins include winning the Group Three Summer Trophy with Six Aces.
