	Introduction :	Locally trained K L Lei commenced race riding in Macau in the 2005/2006 racing season, and was attached to trainer K C Wong. In April of the same season he was transferred to W T Lai. At present Lei has a creditable total of 27 career wins and is able to claim an apprentice allowance of seven-pound. The Licensing Committee has granted a Freelance Jockey’s Licence to Apprentice Jockey K L Lei from 12 January 2009 to the end of 2008/09 Racing Season. He has now completed his three years race riding as an Apprentice. He has ridden 42 winners and therefore will still be eligible to claim a 7lbs allowance. Jockey K L Lei rode his 50th winner at the meeting on 12 February 2010, and will now claim 5 LBS effective immediately.
