	Introduction :	Locally trained P H Chan was indentured to trainer S Chow in May 2002. He commenced race riding in February 2003. In February 2005 he represented MJC to ride at the Saigon Racing Club racemeeting in Vietnam, and won The Saigon Challenge Trophy. In November 2005 he represented MJC again to participate in the Emirates International Apprentice Jockeys Championship held in Dubai, and had one second, one third and one fourth in the six legs of the series. In 2006 he was granted a Freelance Jockey’s license by MJC.
