	Introduction :	Brian Kan Brian Kan a legendary trainer in Hong Kong and very much the public\\'s favourite began his training career in Hong Kong in 1978 has trained over 830 winners – once a HK record - not to mention winning some 100 Cup races. He was the Champion trainer five times: 1986/87, 87/88, 88/89, 89/90, 2000/01 and his best Season was 63 winners in 1989/90. He won the very first Hong Kong Cup in 1987/88 with Flying Dancer. Has also trained five Hong Kong Derby winners (Industrial Pioneer in 2001) and the winner of the 2000 Audemars Piguet QEII Cup, Industrialist. After retiring in Hong Kong he was granted a trainer’s license in Macau in the 2005/06 racing season. In 2007/2008 season he combined with K C Tse forming a joint stable. K C Tse K C Tse commenced riding horses at the early age of 11. Tse continued his career in racing as an apprentice in England and won 11 races. He returned to Hong Kong in the 1980s and left the racing scene. In 1989 he joined the Macau Jockey Club as a coach to riding boys. He then became stable supervisor and two years and later graduated to assistant trainer to his older brother K Y Tse. He was granted his own trainer’s license by MJC for the 1996-97 racing season. In 2007/2008 season he combined with Brian Kan forming a joint stable.
