Introduction : Paul K C Wong
K C Wong comes from a racing family. His father was an assistant trainer to Peter Metrovelli. When he first arrived in Macau, Wong was helping out the Singapore trainer Kok Seng Chong. Later he became an assistant trainer and was attached to stable of the late T L Lee and trainer Y C Chan. He was granted a trainer’s license for the 1997/98 Racing Season and for the last two Racing Season 2005/2006 & 2006/07 has combined with trainer H Y Cheng forming a joint stable.

Paul Cheng Hong Yip
Paul Cheng was an actor in movies after he graduated from an “Actor Training Course” in the 1960s. He was given an opportunity to learn how to ride a horse during some riding scenes in some movies, and since then he fell in love with horse riding. Later he was granted an amateur jockey’s license from the then Royal Hong Kong Jockey Club. However, in the 1970s when Hong Kong racing turned professional he quit riding. In 1981, he migrated to the United States. He rode again and as a jockey and an assistant trainer. In 1986 he was granted a trainer license in New York. In 1997 he came to Macau as an assistant trainer to Patrick Lee, and in October 1998 he was granted a trainer license in Macau. Since 2005/2006 season he combined with Paul K C Wong to form the joint stable.
