	Introduction :	The Licensing Committee of Macau Jockey Club has granted a Joint Stable Licence to Trainers P BUSUTTIN and Y T LAM, with Trainer P BUSUTTIN as principal trainer, effective Monday, 16 January 2012. New Zealander Mr Patrick Busuttin has been training in Macau since the 2009//2010 season. Prior to his licencing in Macau he had trained with outstanding success in New Zealand where he had trained since 1974, he was leading trainer in the Central Districts in New Zealand on 8 occasions during the 1980/90's In 1997 he was granted a licence to train in Singapore and again trained with considerable success until 2006 when he returned to his native New Zealand. During his career in both countries he trained over 1100 winners including over 200 Group , Listed and feature race winners. In Macau his most notable success has been the win of IMABAYBOY in the 2011 SJM Macau Derby. Veteran Y T Lam joined the Macau Trotting Club in 1979 and was a stable lad and trotting driver. After thoroughbred racing was introduced in Macau in 1989, Lam became a stable supervisor and worked along side trainers Jerry Ng and C S Suen. . In 1995 Lam was promoted to assistant trainer, attached to W L Leung. Later he was transferred to the late George Williams’ stable. He was granted a trainer’s license by MJC on 1 January, 2000. His training highlight was winning the qualifying race of Dubai Golden Shaheen with Active Bo Bo in 2001. As such he was the first local trainer to win an overseas race.
