	Introduction :	Denis Y K Lau has a long history in racing, being a licensed jockey in New York, Hong Kong and Macau. When Lau decided to hang up his boots, he returned to the States, in Oklahoma City, to further his career in training. He then returned to Macau in 1996 he was registered as an assistant trainer and worked along side trainers C P Leung and P K Wong. He was granted a trainer’s license in the 2003/2004 Racing Season.
